The King’s Speech

The King’s Speech is a 2010 British historical drama film directed by Tom Hooper and written by David Seidler. The film won the 2010 Toronto International Film Festival People’s Choice Award and has been nominated for twelve Academy Awards.
Colin Firth plays King George VI, who, to overcome his stammer, goes to Lionel Logue, an unorthodox speech therapist, played by Geoffrey Rush. The two men become friends as they work together, and after his brother abdicates, the King relies on Logue to help him make a radio broadcast at the beginning of the Second World War.

The President of Poland killed in a plane crash

Polish President Lech Kaczynski was killed early Saturday when the plane he was travelling in with his wife crashed at a western Russian airport. The plane was approaching the airport at Smolensk, Russia, and probably hit some trees at the end of the runway. It caught fire, the fire has now been extinguished, but the extent of the damage is such that it’s anybody on board survived.
