about me

Hello! My name is Krzysztof Płocha. I’m 45 and I’m Polish. My home town is Szczecin, Poland. I have been a teacher of English since 2002. During my career I have been teaching students on all levels of English excluding pre-school pupils. The youngest were 7 and the oldest were in their 50s. I’ve also been a private tutor for numerous students. Additionally, I’ve been preparing my students for various language competitions. We started a blog about interests with more than one thousand posts, made approx. thirty 5-minute dramas and compiled dozens of language sets widely used with learing platforms (eTeacher, Supermemo, Kahoot!, Quizlet). To make learing more efficient I also made some Youtube videos about 'matura’ exam.

My work experience also includes preparing for examinations (’matura’, 'egzamin gimnazjalny’, 'egzamin ósmoklasisty’) and international certificates (B2 First – First Certificate in English, C1 Advanced – Certificate in Advanced English and IELTS – International English Language Testing System).

I have taken part in multitudinous training courses and educational events both in Polish and English. Most of them were organized by publishing companies that offer ESL materials and educational institutions.

For three years (2013-2015) I was cooperating with Oxford University Press on developing new textbooks for teenagers.
